Children of Eden

Posted on November 11, 2010August 13, 2024 by brian_shea

Freely based on the story of Genesis, Children Of Eden is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet, but inspiring message, that “the hardest part of love… is letting go.”

The show ran Nov. 11–14 and 18–20, 2010. The cast included several HCP “veterans”: Bonnie Raubenstine and Sarah Zimmermann each playing Mama Noah; Bob Henke as Noah; Brita Raubenstine as Eve; and Jim Watson, who also directed,  as Father.

Some newer faces in the cast were: Mat Barninger as Adam, Zack Terrazas as Cain, Sasha Watson as Abel and Shem, Jeremy Slagle as Japeth, Kyle Meisner as Ham, Kelly McMaster as Aysha, Hannah Pollard as Aphra, Jenn Hilker as Yonah, and Lauren Swartz and Jenn Flohr as the snake.

Tammy Terrazas, Joann Luckenbaugh, Shelby Cooke, Lauren King and Ashley Rummel rounded out the cast.
