On Golden Pond is a ‘fantastic show’
Broadway World reviewer gives kudos to cast and set of Hanover Little Theatre’s On Golden Pond, the well-loved and respected show, written by Ernest Thompson, with remaining performances Nov. 20-23. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale to the general public NOW. The single ticket price is $20 for adults and $19 for seniors and students with no fees for tickets printed at home or bought at the door.

SYNOPSIS
Ethel and Norman Thayer, who have returned to their summer home on Golden Pond for the 48th year, are visited by their divorced daughter and her fiancé, who then go off to visit Europe, leaving his teenaged son behind. The boy quickly becomes the “grandchild” the couple have longed for. As the summer wanes, so does the brief idyll, and in the final, deeply moving moments of the play, the couple are brought even closer together.

The cast features Mike Krikorian as Norman Thayer, Joan Crooks as Ethel Thayer, Jess Haag as Chelsea Thayer Wayne, Douglas D. Cooper as Bill Ray, Sofia “Fia” DiMercurio as Billy Ray Jr., Uri Aguoru as Charlie Martin, and Colleen Mundis as the Operator.

The show’s director is Andrea Stephenson with assistant director J’aime Elizabeth, sound designer Brandon Miller, lighting designer Bob McCleary, rehearsal stage manager Colleen Mundis, set construction lead Jason Collison and Quinton Laughman, and stage crew Melanie Wagner. The set build crew includes Jason Blevins, Vigil Dewhurst, Mike Stephenson, Jason Collison, Quinton Laughman, Dave Miller, Carmela Champ, Andrea Stephenson, J’aime Elizabeth; and the producers are Carmela Champ and Wendee Lewis.
