Director Andrea Stephenson has announced the cast for Hanover Little Theatre’s November 2025 production of On Golden Pond, a classic show of laughs, love, and aging by Ernest Thompson. Show dates are Nov. 14-16, 20-23. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2 p.m.
The single ticket price is $20 for adults and $19 for seniors and students with no fees for tickets printed at home or bought at the door. There will be a $2 charge for all phone orders and a $1 charge for any tickets delivered through the mail. Tickets for the general public go on sale Oct. 11.
In addition to buying tickets online, the HLT box office will be available for in-person purchases prior to opening night:
- Saturdays, Nov. 1 and 8, 10 a.m.–noon
- Sundays, Nov. 2 and 9, noon–2 p.m.
Ethel and Norman Thayer, who have returned to their summer home on Golden Pond for the 48th year, are visited by their divorced daughter and her fiancé, who then go off to visit Europe, leaving his teenaged son behind. The boy quickly becomes the “grandchild” the couple have longed for. As the summer wanes, so does the brief idyll, and in the final, deeply moving moments of the play, the couple are brought even closer together.
