‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ On Stage in Sept.

In Person-Box Office: Saturdays, Aug. 23 & 30, 10 a.m.–noon and Sundays, Aug. 24 & 31, noon to 2 p.m.

The six well-known characters in the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (revised, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer; additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa) will be on stage Sept. 5-7 and 11-14. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the general public are on sale NOW. The single ticket price is $20 for adults and $19 for seniors and students with no fees for tickets printed at home or bought at the door. There will be a $2 charge for all phone orders and a $1 charge for any tickets delivered through the mail.

In addition to buying tickets online, the HLT box office will be available for in-person purchases:

  • Saturdays, Aug. 23 and 30, 10 a.m.–noon
  • Sundays, Aug. 24 and 31, noon–2 p.m.

SYNOPSIS

This show based on the popular Charles Schulz Peanuts comic strips explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes is based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, with musical numbers that include “Suppertime” and “My Blanket and Me.”

CAST

The cast features Justin Rosenberger as Charlie Brown; Jeff Swope as Linus; Ernie Kranias as Schroeder; Sara Myers-Finnegan as Snoopy; Kaitlyn Ball as Lucy; and Ashley Gerhardt as Sally.

BEHIND THE SCENES

The show’s director is Paul Norfolk with assistant director Douglas D. Cooper. Additional crew includes Stage Manager Vigil Dewhurst; Lighting Designer Bob McCleary; Co-lighting Designer Allisa Baker; Choreographer, Allissa Baker; Music Director Vanessa Rice; Set Designer Rene DeLisle; and Producers Dave Miller and Art Rathell.

NONPROFIT PARTNER

Remember that HLT will donate $2 for each ticket sold to the Saturday, Sept. 6 performance to Susquehanna Service Dogs. Matching donations from an anonymous patron and Sommer and O’Donnell – Attorneys at Law will boost the total donation to $6 per seat sold. We will also accept donations from patrons at each performance.
