Hanover Little Theatre (HLT) recently donated $500 to the Friends of Codorus State Park (FOCSP). HLT Board President Brian Shea (left) presented the check to FOCSP President Dwight Resh.
The donation came from a fundraiser held during the recent production of Weekend Comedy at HLT. The theatre donated $2 for every ticket sold for the Saturday, July 9 show to FOCSP. An anonymous patron matched that donation. Patrons and friends of the theatre also made donations to reach the final total.
This marks the seventh show which has doubled as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit. The theatre has donated $3,400 to a variety of groups since inaugurating this effort in November 2014. The nonprofit partner for the upcoming production of The Old People Are Revolting will be announced soon.
