Hanover Little Theatre is looking for actors for the second show in the group’s 66th season.
Auditions for Sylvia will take place at the theatre (360 Blooming Grove Road) at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23. Sally Chase will direct the comedy which calls for a cast of two men and two women. The show runs Nov. 14-16 and 20-23. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to audition.
The A.R. Gurney comedy chronicles the funny and sometimes touching “problems” that arise when a couple adopts a dog. Greg puts his marriage to Kate in serious jeopardy when he brings home Sylvia, but after a series of hilarious and touching complications, Greg and Kate learn to compromise, and Sylvia becomes a valued part of their lives.
