Theatre Makes Soroptimist Donation

Hanover Little Theatre (HLT) recently donated $400 to Soroptimist International of Hanover. HLT Board President Brian Shea (left) presented the check to Soroptimist President Danielle Mostoller.

The donation came from a fundraiser held during the recent production of The Oldest Profession at HLT. The theatre donated $2 for every ticket sold for the Saturday, November 12 show to the Soroptimist. An anonymous patron matched that donation. Patrons and friends of the theatre also made donations to reach the final total.

This marks the ninth show which has doubled as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit. The theatre has donated $4,300 to a variety of groups since inaugurating this effort in November 2014. The nonprofit partner for the upcoming production of Incorruptible will be the Hanover Area Council of Churches.
