Memberships for 2017-18 Now on Sale

Memberships are now available for Hanover Little Theatre’s 69th season. The four productions in the season will take on family and politics, exposing the true stories of mothers and grandmothers before moving onto marital mixups and political scandal.

The theatre, located at 360 Blooming Grove Road, features membership plans with ticket vouchers that can be used for any show as well as early access to seating choices. Money-saving season tickets provide the same seat to each performance as an additional option. Single tickets will remain $15 for all shows, and purchases are available online or at the box office for no additional fee.

Memberships start at $5 for students and go all the way up to $500. Platinum, Golden, Angel, Patron of the Arts or Supporting members receive ticket vouchers while also making a donation which is vital to our theatre’s ability to maintain and update the theatre while continuing to put on performances at affordable prices. All Membership Plans include your name in the program as well as voting rights at the annual meeting.

Season Ticket plans provide one ticket per show, allowing patrons to guarantee the same seat all season. A season-ticket plan costs $54, a savings over individual ticket purchases.

The lineup for the 2017-18 season will be:

  • The MOMologues: Four Moms share the funny and honest stories of the differences between raising boys and girls, how to handle the Tooth Fairy, picky eaters, discipline, kids peeing in the playground and all the rest of the real-life comedy that is motherhood. The show will run Sept. 22-24 and 28-Oct. 1.
  • Funny, You Don’t Look Like a Grandmother: This comedic musical revue shines a new light on modern grandmothers through humorous and heartwarming scenes. Watch and laugh as grandmothers debate what name they want to be called, their availability as baby-sitters and much, much more. The show will run Nov. 10-12, 16-19.
  • Rumors: Just before his 10th wedding anniversary party, the Deputy Mayor of New York passes out from taking Valium after unsuccessfully trying to shoot himself in the head, and his wife is nowhere to be found. Their friends try to cover up the circumstances from arriving guests, but miscommunication and confusion fuel this Neil Simon farce. The show will run April 20-22, 26-29, 2018.
  • The Sensuous Senator: From the same authors of Sex Please We’re Sixty and Sin, Sex and the C.I.A., this political farce descends into bedlam when a presidential candidate running on a “morality” platform finds himself trapped in his house with his wife, girlfriend, a lady of the evening, two colleagues and a nosy reporter. The show will run July 13-15, 19-22, 2018.
