Revolt Benefits Golden Visions

charlie_golden_visionsHanover Little Theatre (HLT) recently donated $550 to Golden Visions Adult Day Services. HLT Board Member Charlie Beard (right) presented the check to Golden Visions Director Buffy Rice.

The donation came from a fundraiser held during the recent production of The Old People Are Revolting at HLT. The theatre donated $2 for every ticket sold for the Saturday, September 10 show to Golden Visions. An anonymous patron matched that donation. Patrons and friends of the theatre also made donations to reach the final total. All seven performances were sold out, providing a great opportunity to benefit Golden Visions.

This marks the eighth show which has doubled as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit. The theatre has donated nearly $4,000 to a variety of groups since inaugurating this effort in November 2014. The nonprofit partner for the upcoming production of The Oldest Profession will be Hanover Soroptimist, Inc.
